So you say it’s your birthday & all you got was SNOW!!!
Well not quite on my birthday but close and the cold temperatures and rain stuck around for it. Hey but I do have pictures to prove we had a record snowfall in Des Moines, Iowa on October 10th, 2009.

I typically try to take at least my birthday off or the whole week. I was lucky last year and this to get the whole week off. Last year I got beautiful pics of one of my favorite parks to go walking in… this year all I got was stinkin’ snow. ughhh!!!! I know it’s Iowa and the weather will change in a couple of hours. I heard it’s supposed to be 60 degrees on SUNDAY… you know the day before MONDAY and WORK!!! Ok, no more whining, but I am going to take more than a one week vacation next year so if the first one sucks, I can at least get a do-over.
